- Visit www.equifaxsecurity2017.com to check whether you are one of the 143 million people whose data may have been compromised.
- Monitor your credit reports. They are available from each of the three credit bureaus through www.annualcreditreport.com action free of charge one time per year. We recommend you do this annually.
- Monitor your account and credit card statements monthly and report any suspicious or potentially fraudulent activities right away. If you believe your identity has been stolen take a few deep breaths and make a plan with our recovery guide.
- Be aware of phishing emails that attempt to get you to provide sensitive personal information via a website or phone number. It’s always best to confirm legitimacy of links, attachments and phone numbers in some manner other than by using the information provided in an email. Be wary of any messages, emails or texts that claim to provide a service to you as a victim of this incident.

This coverage provides 24/7 assistance from FCRA certified staff who will provide you with tips and guidance should you believe you have been a victim of identity theft.
