When and where is the next OCCU Shred Fest event

While many of us strive to live in a paperless world (at least as far as bills and account statements go), there always seems to be a stack of papers — maybe on a counter or hidden away in a drawer that’s getting more and more difficult to close — that you just don’t want to throw out. They have your address, account information, or maybe they just look like they might have some nugget of personal info you just don’t want to toss out into the world. 

We get it. And we’re here to help. 

Every year, OCCU holds a Shred Fest event, where the community can bring all their documents with sensitive information and dispose of them safely and securely.

At OCCU, your financial security is our number one priority. But there are steps you can take to make sure your personal information is secure. Shredding your old documents is a safe and easy way to reduce fraud and prevent identity theft. 

In addition to safely disposing of your documents, Shred Fest is also an opportunity to support our community by contributing nonperishables to local food pantries. Over the years our Shred Fest events have collected thousands of pounds of food for those who need it.
