Growing together: Beau’s member story

When our members grow in their lives and in their careers, we like to think we grow right along with them. 

That was certainly the case with Beau Garner. 

“I originally got involved with OCCU because we started a checking account,” he said. 

Little did he know, that was just the beginning. 

“Then I saw they had amazing rates, so we got a car loan through them.” 

Makes sense. What’s next? 

“Eventually I said ‘Well, let’s look at their long-term savings.’ So we invested in long-term savings.” 

Beautiful! What more could he want? What more can we do? 

“When I started my small business I said, ‘Of course I’m going to use OCCU to run my small business account.’” 

Well, that just makes good business sense! 

It’s been a beautiful relationship that’s lasted years! But it’s one that goes beyond banking. Beau’s dedication to helping people in his personal life and his counseling career – means that he appreciates credit union values – particularly those of OCCU. 

He is a force for good, enriching lives in his own ways and supporting our efforts to do so as well.
