If you’ve been searching for a peaceful park with jaw-dropping oceanic views to call home for a few days (or weeks) this summer, then Winchester Bay RV Resort might be your holy grail. Sometimes you need a break from the same weekend motorcycle route. Try your two wheels on Oregon Route 218. Running between the small towns of Shaniko and Fossil, and stretching over 40 miles, this exciting route cuts through desert canyons and mountainous terrain with snaky turns and almost no traffic – just watch out for antelope and deer!
You’ll also want to keep an eye open for ghost towns and other deserted areas. This scenic route has everything in the making of an unforgettable ride, as long as you plan for fuel ahead of time.
